However, according to South African exporters, while prices were good, the end results were disappointing. The primary reason is the significant increase in internal costs at the European level including transport from the port to the warehouse, THC, handling, and above all the cost of cooling, which went from 300 euros to almost 700 euros per container compared to the previous season.
