The Joint Coordinating Center (JCC) gave permission to leave the ports of Ukraine on Saturday for six ships with Ukrainian food as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, the UN reports.

“SKC authorized the release of six ships carrying a total of 96,181 tons of grain and other agricultural products as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative,” the message says.

The UN noted that the ships Princess Amhan (6 thousand tons of wheat), Lady Sham (5.6 thousand tons of sunflower seeds) will go to Italy. The Briza ship (6.5 thousand tons of corn) will go to Greece, the Magnolia ship (6.6 thousand tons of sunflower oil) – to Turkey. In addition, the Eaubonne ship will deliver 32.7 thousand tons of corn, 13.8 thousand tons of wheat and 10.8 thousand tons of barley to Spain. The Kan 2 ship plans to sail to Libya with 11,000 tons of corn and 2,900 tons of barley.

In addition, the ships A-line (10.7 thousand tons of corn) and Lucky (6 thousand tons of corn and 4.4 thousand tons of barley) have postponed their departure from Ukrainian ports and plan to sail on Saturday.

“As of September 9, the total tonnage of grain and other food products exported from three Ukrainian ports is 2,463,991 tons. In total, the movement of 237 vessels has been allowed at the moment – 129 arriving in Ukrainian ports and 108 leaving them,” the statement said. in the message.

On July 22, in Istanbul, with the participation of the UN, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine, two documents were signed on the creation of a corridor for the export of grain from three Ukrainian ports – Chernomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhny.
