CHINA CUSTOMS HAVE RELEASED INSPECTION AND QUARANTINE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE IMPORT OF WILD AQUATIC PRODUCTS FROM TANZANIA

The Tanzanian embassy in China released inspection and quarantine requirements for the import of wild aquatic products from Tanzania. This comes after the agreement signed earlier in November 2022 between the president of Tanzania and president of China came into effect earlier in December 2022. China’s seafood imports reached USD 15.3 billion in 2020, providing a significant opportunity for Tanzania to capitalize on.
