The reopening of the Middle East market, where the restrictions on exports were lifted as a result of the initiatives of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, made the grape producers of Manisa smile. The fact that the grapes, which are exported to 122 countries, especially Russia, will also take place in the Middle East market, will provide a significant foreign currency inflow to the country.

Grape producers from Manisa and Alaşehir are enjoying the opening of Middle Eastern markets for export. The fact that the world-famous seedless Sultaniye grapes will be exported to Middle Eastern countries in these days when the harvest period is approaching, made grape growers and exporters happy. As a result of the export restriction on Turkish products from Middle Eastern countries, especially Saudi Arabia, exports to Middle Eastern countries could not be made at the desired level. As a result of the good relations established with countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates in recent days, the export restriction on Turkish products has been lifted. As a result of the reopening of exports as a result of the initiatives of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the export of the world-famous Sultaniye Seedless Grape will be made to the European countries, especially Russia, and now to the Middle East countries. With the opening of the export path to the Middle East countries, the export of Seedless Sultaniye, which was 230 thousand tons in 2021, is expected to increase even more in 2022 and to provide more foreign currency inflows to the country.
