THE DEMAND FOR APPLES IS SURGING IN THE UAE ACCOMPANIED BY INCREASED PRICES

The demand for apples is surging in the UAE. Prices increased 6-7% in W37 compared to the previous week. It is expected that prices will gradually increase by 10-15% until the 1st week of October 2022. The increased prices are likely to persist until French and Italian apples make an appearance in the UAE market. European Apples are expected to be arriving in the market by the end of September. At present Granny Smith apples are high in demand followed by Galas and Red Delicious.
